Our School Discipline Plan

At The Benchmark, our discipline plan focuses on building a positive school culture that emphasizes respect, cooperation, and self-discipline. We believe in recognizing good behaviour and creating an environment where every student knows what is expected of them.

• A strong emphasis on recognizing & rewarding good behaviour (“Catch them being good”).
• Dealing with challenging behaviour calmly, fairly, and consistently across the school.
• Maintaining a clear system where everyone knows where they stand.

Everyone must know:

• What the school rules are.
• What happens when pupils follow rules.
• What happens when they choose to misbehave.

We foster a caring culture based on mutual respect, cooperation, and support. Inappropriate behaviours are addressed promptly and fairly. Our students are encouraged to maintain high expectations for themselves and work together to make The Benchmark an ideal learning environment for all.
