Hifz Section

The Hifz Section at The Benchmark is dedicated to nurturing students who aspire to memorize the Noble Qur’an while continuing their academic education. Our program is designed to cultivate a deep spiritual connection with Allah (SWT), discipline in daily routines, and a love for lifelong learning.

Under the guidance of qualified and compassionate Qaris, students memorize the Qur’an with correct pronunciation (Tajweed) and understanding. Each child progresses at a pace suited to their ability, with individual attention ensuring strong retention and confidence in recitation.

The Hifz journey at The Benchmark goes beyond memorization — it builds character, humility, and perseverance. Students are taught to embody the teachings of the Qur’an in their behavior, speech, and dealings, becoming true representatives of its message.

Hifz Levels

Objectives:
1. Complete 10 Parahs (Juz’) of Quran memorization
2. Enhance Nazra (recitation) skills
3. Develop Tajweed (proper pronunciation) proficiency

Approach:
1. Equal attention to each student to ensure retention and progress in Hifz
2. Regular assessments and feedback to track student progress

Objectives:
1. Complete 15 Parahs (Juz’) of Quran memorization (20th to 5th Parah)
2. Enhance Nazra (recitation) skills
3. Develop Tajweed (proper pronunciation) proficiency, focusing on Makharij (articulation points)

Syllabus:
1. Parahs: 20th to 5th
2. Hifz (memorization) and Muta’lla
3. Tajweed (proper pronunciation)
4. Makharij (articulation points)

Approach:
1. Equal attention to each student to ensure retention and progress in Hifz
2. Regular assessments and feedback to track student progress of Sabq, Sabqi and Manzil.

Objectives:
1. Complete 5 Parahs (Juz’) of Quran memorization (5th to 1st Parah) and Girdan (Revision)
2. Enhanced Hifz and Nazra skills
3. Develop understanding of Prayer and learn Duas of Prayer.
4. Develop understanding of similar verses.

Syllabus:
1. Parahs: 5th to 1st & Girdan (Revision)
2. Hifz (Memorization) and Nazra (Recitation)
3. Namaz-e-Hanafi (Asan Namaz): Practical Prayer Training
4. Taleem ul Islam bil Kitab (Part II)
5. Practice of Muta’shabihat (similar verses)
